On International Day of the Girl Child, here are 13 reasons why girls continue to be denied an education.Too often marriage is seen as a higher priority than education.They do not know what a person of an opposite sex likes, how he or she spends her or his spare time, etc. Some of them will create a family someday and they most likely will not have anything to share. They will have different friends and opinions about things. Women grow up their children and men worked and gathered in the men' clubs in the evenings.

Often male siblings will be given the chance to attend school instead.

But educating girls and young women increases a country's productivity and contributes to economic growth.

In the following paragraphs I will give my reasons to support my opinion.
