The program’s Visiting Writers Series brings twelve writers to campus every year (six each semester) for intense classroom experiences capped at ten students, readings that are open to the public and that offer networking opportunities for MFA students.

She is a contributor to a new volume of essays commemorating the 100th anniversary of Thomas Merton’s birth: We Are Already One: Merton’s Message of Hope (Fons Vitae Press, 2015).

Kathleen earned her MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of Pittsburgh. MISHLER’s collection of poems, Termination Dust (Boreal Books/Red Hen Press), was a finalist for a 2015 Lambda Literary Award.
